Youth'08: Traffic Jam and Bloggers Party

Do you guys still remember that my blog actually got featured for the Youth’08: Traffic Jam event? Okay, I know it is a bit late to update on the event but what to do, I still have a lot of pending post that I need to post up. Luckily, I am back to student’s life and hence I actually have more time to clear up the stacked post.

Luckily it is getting better when the time the Bloggers Party is going to start. Basically, the pupose of the event is to provide a chance, a platform for the public to know and learn more on bloggers, and also provide the chances for blogger like me to meet up with others great bloggers that we usually don’t have chance to meet with.

During the party, I had met a lot of bloggers that I usually read their blogs. The kind of feels is just great. Can you imagine you are like know him or her very well by reading their blog daily then suddenly they are just stand in front of you. The feeling is like “Ahh..I know you!” but at the same time I am thinking, “Yala,I know them, but how the heck you think that they will know you as well?” This kind of dilemma is in me all the time during the event and I really feel glad that I able to brave up myself to go around, talking to them and I have no regret for that. Adhere, I would like to say, it is really nice to meet you guys during the bloggers party and I really hope that there will be more similar event in future.

Lastly, I would like to show you guys whom I met during the events and I apologize for missing anyone of you since I haven’t got the group photo from other bloggers.

Fattien Birthday Celebration 15 January 2008

This will be a super outdated post. Suppose I shall post this before I start my Singapore Walk series but due to some reason, I just have it delay and delay and till now only realize I haven’t post about this. Fattien’s birthday is falls on 15 January where Hungwei ask me to go along to celebrate with him at Cheras Leisure Mall Wong Kok Restaurant.

So, I won’t write everything in detail as the whole celebration is just about drinks, eat, then photo shoot, camwhore, snapshot, took group photo and flashing all around the restaurant. There are total eleven of us who attend the celebration and they are Fattien, HungWei, AhKwong and his gf Myin, Aaron, Nkwai, Mich, Eugene, Joshua, Hiew and me. If you don't know them, nevermind, I will introduce everyone of them at the latter photo cause I took photos with all these guys and girls since this will be my last gathering with them back at Kuala Lumpur.

Since it is all about photo shoot hence less crap more photos...

Singapore Walk ~ Clarke Quay

Okay, I know I already make the Singapore Walk series a bit too long. Hmm, so this will be the last post of Singapore. Previously, I mentioned that I missed out the show : Songs of the Sea in Sentosa, this is because my dear and I need to rush to Raffles Place to meet up with her parents. The main purpose we are there is actually to celebrate her daddy’s birthday.

So, after the meet up, we are heading to a Chinese Ala Carte Buffet style Restaurant to have our dinner. You must be wondering what the heck I am talking about. I didn’t type anything wrongly, and you are conscious too. The restaurant serves Ala Carte Chinese food in buffet style, which means you can order any food from the menu provided unlimited time and unlimited quantity by paying around 38++ Sing dollar per person. My opinion is this is quite worth if you are working in Singapore, but not for Malaysian tourist when you have to spend about double of the price. I will post only 1 photo, so I don’t think you guys will complaint for posting food early in the morning right?

After the dinner, Shawn (my dear’ sister’s boyfriend) bring us to a quite happening place in Singapore especially during night time, Clarke Quay. At first, I don’t know how to spell out these words, of course the first Clarke I may spell it right, but what about “Quay”? In my mind, I thought it spell like “kuih”? Luckily I didn’t spell it out else I seriously need to find a hole for myself to hide inside. Its actual pronounces like Clarke “KEEY”. Don’t ask me why, I am just the follower.

There are five streets that joint together and you may found a lot of the café, pub or club, anything you named it will be there. So, we have some walks along the riverside and of course I did took a lot of photo but sigh, *a big sad face* the quality is not that good, there is still a lot that I need to learn. So here is some bad quality photos that I took, and we actually celebrate dear’s daddy birthday at a Beers Factory, Brewerkz.

This Brewerkz produce beer inside its own shoplets. If you go inside the shop, you may see a lot of the big tank and container which is for the beers. There are wide varieties of beers, also the wines corner. One thing I have to mention is the price; it is kinda cheap if you want to have a drink during day time.

So, after the celebration, we go home, have a nice sleep, having our breakfast at a India Restaurant which sells delicious murtabak especially the Mutton Murtabak, shopping at Bugis Walk and then we are on the train back to Malaysia. This is the day where I spent almost 8 hours on train from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. With this, I will end my Singapore Walk officially. *korf*korf*

Singapore Walk ~ Sentosa Hotspot

I know I have put this post too long and too much delay but I just don't want to miss out any nice info. That's why I separate it to few different post and hope you guys still have the patience to read it.*korf*korf*As most of you know that I already back at Melaka, hence,I am back to Uni life where I can online no day no night,so anyone wan find me,cant reach me at my msn messenger.

So,after the Sentosa Underwater World and also the Pink Dolphin Show, there are some hotspot that you shouldn't miss if you are the first timer to the Sentosa. The first spot is the Siloso Beach.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Most of my friend claim that Siloso Beach very beautiful but actually it did disappointed me,may be is my high expectation brings the disappointment. You can easily found any more beautiful beach than this Siloso Beach at Malaysia East Coast especially near Terenganu Side.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Their beach is consider clean since it is facing the Strait of Malacca. At the beach, you can normally found the Asian,opss..I mean Singaporeans that having their sunbath just like those Western people but I seriously don't understand whats the point they do that since either in Singapore or Malaysia,we are having this type of hot "SUN" for 365 days.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I am using the 16:9 wide screen format to shoot this photo.Quite a nice view right?Actually I don't understand whats the different of it but don't care as long as it gives me nice photo is more than enough.

The next thing that you should go is the Sentosa Luge and Skyride.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

You are able to catch a very nice view of the beachside and also scenic treetop ride on the skyride to the starting point for Sentosa Luge.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Now,get ready for the Sentosa Luge where you can race down or cruise leisurely along a 650m paved track in a luge cart.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

After all these extreme and excited sports, its time to take a seat in Sentosa 4D Magix for a mind-blowing interactive experience.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I strongly suggest these if you haven't try on this before. It is much better than the 3D cinema that you can get in Genting.Besides the individually controlled motion seats, there are special "live" environment effects, all your sense will be fully engaged like you are one of the actor in the movie itself.

While waiting for the 4D shows

After the half day of walking and exploring, this time, the air-conditioned seat must be very tempted for you guys. So,why not have a ride on the Sky Tower. You can rest you feet and enjoy the 360 panoramic views of Singapore,Sentosa and the Strait of Malacca. This Sky Tower is the Singapore's Tallest public viewing tower which stands at 131m above sea level or equivalentt to 50 storeys high!

Inside the Sky Tower

I didn't take the photo of the tower cause it is just too high that I hardly include the who tower in 1 shots. If you want to know how's the towet looks like, refer to here.

Of course, when you came to Sentosa, you must pay a visit to the ancestor of the Merlion. Why I am sure this is the ancestor?Hmm..because it is the largest and oldest ma..*I just bluff*Actually I really don't understand why they put the antenna on its head which definitely spoilt the whole view of the photo.*Geram aku*

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

This will be the end of my Sentosa post.Well, there are too many places that you can visit so make sure you plan properly before you go to Sentosa.Experience tells me that if you plan properly, then you might be able to visit as many as places within the limited time and also not forget the Shows :Songs of the Sea which only conducted at night.
